Thanks to City Year Boston,

• about 200 students received classroom support in Boston this year,
• 76 students received training in reading and literacy,
• 24 students received tutoring in math and/or science,
• 45 students participated in the Starfish after-school program, and
• 46 parents attended the opening day of the Starfish program.

As Angela and I finished her math homework, I realized that for a fourth grader in an advanced-work class, Angela's multiplication skills should have been MUCH better.
