NASCAR Driver Bobby Labonte Reminds Motorists to be 'Better Safe' | Safety

Indianapolis, IN

Just before his 600th consecutive start, NASCAR driver Bobby Labonte, past champion of the Sprint Cup Series and the Nationwide Series, will be at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, signing autographs and reminding motorists to be Better Safe around railroad tracks.

CSX Grant to Fund Needed Hospital Equipment | Giving

Willard, OH

CSX recently presented a $20,000 grant to Mercy Willard Hospital. The funds will be used to purchase needed equipment for the facility, including an adult/pediatric GlideScope and several emergency crash carts.

Phoenix Heights Neighborhood Beautification with CSX's Trees for Tracks Program | Green

Ocala, FL

Volunteers will plant eight live oak trees, four elm trees, 12 crape myrtles and six sable palms. There also will be some sodding work done to create a small park in the low-income development.

I am a new hire with CSX, but I have been a train conductor for over five years. One of my favorite things about working on the rails is to see the wonderful birds that share the forested and remote areas I've traveled — like eagles, osprey and hawks.
